Hello experts,

I have been following the 3 part blog series How to install Hybrid Application Toolkit (HAT) on Windows (part 1 of 3)

I have successfully completed installing JDK 8, Android SDK, Apache Ant (part 1), Kapsel plugin, set environment variables JAVA_HOME, ANT_HOME, KAPSEL_HOME, ANDROID_HOME and PATH, installed GIT Client, Node.js, Kapsel CLI, Apache Cordova 5.2.0 and Plugman (part 2) without any issues.

Now when I try to install the hybrid application toolkit following the part 3 by running the setup.cmd file from the SAP_HAT_local_1.24.1 folder I see that the Node.js, npm and bower versions are fetched but in sometime I see the below message saying Couldn't resolve proxy 'null':

I am working on my home network where there isn't any proxy and I also haven't set any npm proxy. Could anyone let me know what do I have to do for successfully installing the HAT plugin?

Find Below Attachments.

installed softwares:

1.npm 3.3.12

2.node v5.4.1

3.HAT1.24.1

4.git 2.12.0 .windows.1

5.cordova 5.2.0

Hello

Firstly, i would suggest you to go through SAP Community rules of engagement https://www.sap.com/community/about/rules-of-engagement.html

Providing a single line statement won't help you , you must have provided detailed information regarding your query like how you are accessing external resources whether working in a corporate network/home network, SMP runtime & Mobile SDK version etc .

Coming to screenshot, there are already so many discussions available on same topic, I would suggest you to search before posting your (next) question, this is to eliminate duplicate entries. Thanks for understanding.

You must go through this helpful guide: https://blogs.sap.com/2015/07/17/getting-started-with-kapsel-part-1-sp09/
