How to Logon to Solution Manager via AS ABAP stack

Guys,

I have recently installed Solution Manager v4.0 (ECC 6.0).

Unfortunately, all (J2EE_ADMIN, SPA*, etc) administrator ids are locked out. Hence I am not able to login usingt he AS JAVA stack.

Some of the workarouds to unlock the J2EE_ADMIN id requires to first login to solution manager using the AS ABAP stack (UME) and then issue transaction SU01.

However, I do not know how to login via ABAP AS. Does this mean I have use SAP GUI (windows) or Newweaver Admin.

Please guide me as I am relatively new to SAP.
