Developer Workplace Installation

First Question:

In order to install Developer Workplace on my Win XP laptop, I downloaded <b>DVD_NW_2004s_SR1_Developer_Workplace</b> from the marketplace but I also need the DB DVD for MaxDB and the Kernel DVD. Where Am I suppose to get those DVDs?

Second Question:

Those DVDs exist on the Sneak Preview that I downloaded couple of weeks ago. Could I use them? I tried but I got an error at step 20 of 41 "Inport Java Dump".

1) Service.sap.com - downloads - download - installation and upgrades - entry by application group - sap netweaver - ...

2) Set local timezone to GMT+1 (Amsterdam, Berlin, etc)

Hello,

I have the same problem. On Service.sap.com - downloads - download - installation and upgrades - entry by application group - sap netweaver there are many components listed but i cant find a DVD download?!?

Where can one find the installation DVD's on the service marketplace? I can't find them anywhere....

Yes, I could download the preview versions from SDN, but I'm looking for the 'real' thing.

The real place to get them is from service.sap.com/swdc, Downloads -> Installations and Upgrade -> Entry by Application Group -> Sap Netweaver -> Sap Netweaver -> Sap Netweaver 2004s -> Installation and Upgrade -> Windows Server -> Sap DB. Download the following archives:

Unip the zip files in the order listed above, ensuring that you always overwrite existing files.

You can now proceed to install the Dev. Workplace via

...\nw2004s-sp09\DVD_NW_2004s_SR1_Developer_Workplace\IM_WINDOWS_I386\sapinst.exe
