Hello,
I have published about 3 queries on web....gave the link to the users....all the reports have similar selections but different structures inside them.......the link does not tell anything about what report they are running....as soon as they click on the link they login and they see the selection screen...the selection screen also does not tell them what report they are giving the selections for until they execute it...is there a way to give in a title or something to make it more obvious that they are entering the selections for a balance sheet report or a P&L report or whatever report it is ?
would appreciate your suggestions...
Kamal
The technical name of the web template should be at the end of the link. Couldn't that be used to identify the reports?

Well, I tested here and the title of the variable selection screen says something along the lines of "Variable entry for <Template Name>".
So I guess changing the name (description) of the template could help.

Perhaps I misunderstood: is it an adhoc query? If it is, then I don't think you can change the title (I'm not sure, though).
On the other hand, if it is a "normal" query (created on Query Designer), then do the following (if you haven't already): go to Web Application Designer, add the table web item, and associate it to your query. Then, when saving the Web Template, what you write in the "Description" field is what appears on the variable entry box.
To get the link to the template you created, choose menu Publish, then "Copy URL to clipboard".
