ServiceDeskMessage/ChangeRequest variant

Dear all,

I have a question regarding the service desk message/change request. Under transaction dswp->

operations tab->service desk tab->messages tab, i believe

you will see the list of all the messages. My question is, just above the list, there is an pull-down text box with some kind of code. Could someone kindly tell me what is this code, and how we can customize/effectively use it?

    Hi Yoshi,

    I can have an input from my side inthis regard. I can see the varinats created bySAP in the drop down menu. If u would require to have a new variant here, it has to be saved from the CRM_DNO_MONITOR screen as a variant and using SE93, it has to be assigned for this screen to get it running instead of the standard screenm( ABAPER's help me in this). In that case i am sure that variant would also pop up here in the drop down menu.

    Let me know if u have news about this as i am also trying something similar.
