Dear Friends.
I have a nested report with CATEGORY, TIME, PRODUCT, ACCOUNT dimension in row and ENTITY in column. User need to create multiple local member toward the end of the row axis. The CATEGORY and TIME dimension will only have one member (e.g. ‘Actual’ and ‘2016.TOTAL’). PRODUCT & ACCOUNT will have multiple member.
In the attached screenshot when I create local member, it by default take the member in last row for PRODUCT dimension(highlighted in ‘Yellow’). But the user want that local formula should show the description of the formula. For example the row highlighted in ‘Green’ is calculation for TOTAL_PRODUCT and NET_INCOME – FXXX. Similarly the row highlighted in ‘Blue’ is calculation for CFO_TOTAL and PRE_TAX_INCOME – OTH_INC_EXP_NET.
How can I achieve this requirement from client.
Thanks,
Rahul
Vadim, the report is dynamic and not static. If I use excel formula, then it won't work if the report expansion changes.
Thanks,
Rahul

Looks like you are creating local members automatically using local member recognition! And the formula is static with fixed positions.
In this case simply don't use local member 🙂 use Excel formulas on the report without local member recognition!

Please show screenshot of the local member setup!
