SAP Data Services repository on MS SQL 2008 or MS SQL 2012, is there any advantages or disadvantages

Hi Experts,

We have our SAP DS repositories on MS SQL 2008, but now we are thinking of moving the repositories to MS SQL 2012. Can anyone suggest any advantages/disadvantages of moving the repositories to MS SQL 2012.

I don't see any disadvantages of using SQL Server 2012 for the repository.

You didn't mention the DS version. I assume it is 4.2.

Though , the new features in MS SQL Server 2012 has very little to do when you them for your Data Services repository , I would recommend you to have a look at them here and here .
