Hi All,

I would like to ask if it's possible to implement SSO for SAP GUI (SAP Logon for Windows) to ABAP system without having to install Secure Login Client?

I would be grateful for any feedback.

Best regards,

Duy

Hi Imtiaz,

Thank you for your reply. But according to the note 352295, the solution is not supported anymore and the GSSKRB5.dlls (and the note 2115486) cannot be accessed.

Is there other way to achieve the SSO without Single Login Client?

Best regards,

Duy

Hi Duy, AFAIK there are currently only two certified solutions for SSO with SAP GUI:

  • SAP SSO (which means Secure Login Client)
  • Cybersafe Trust Broker

I am not shure if there is still some solution from Quest (which seems to be Dell now).

Anyhow: SSO to GUI will not work without the installation of an additional client software component.

Regards, Lutz
