Half day leave deduction for different working hours employees

Hello Experts,

we have one requirement to deduct the half day leave.

scenario: we have salaried employees with different working hours 6,8,9 but absence type, absence quota, counting rule, deduction rules are same. when the employee apply the half day leave, how system perform? whether 3 hrs will deduct from employee quota for 6 hrs daily working hrs employee? same like for 8 and 9 hrs daily working hrs employees.

please guide me how system calculate the 3 hrs/4 hrs/4.5 hrs for half day?

if the groupings are different, where do we give the condition to deduct the halfday leave?

For that ESG Grouping and PSA Grouping, how have you configured the Counting Rules for that Quota in T556C ?
