Hello,
Im using a Key Figure, which in its aggregation tab I chose Exeption aggregat. as average(all values) and agg.referen.char as 0fiscper.
When I use a hierarchy and one of the nodes is an average of more than one period, it doesnt sums all the averages for each node in the hierarchy. Instead it calculates all the nodes as an average of all the periods which where available (if there was no data in one of the nodes in that period it calculate the average of 0 and the node value)
I tried also to use the Exeption aggregat (of the KF) as AV0Avarage (value not ezual to 0) but its not working .
Please Advice,
David
Hi david,
when u go for non-cumulatives, like the exception aggregation u used, it would calculate the non cumualative based on the aggregation reference character you define. In your case since it is 0FISCPER, it will calculate all the nodes as an average of all the periods which were available and not all averages for each node in the hierarchy. b'cos 0fiscper is the characteristic based on which the validity is built, if you are looking for averages for each node in hierarchy and not according to periods use the characteristic in the hierarchy node as a reference characteristic, rather than 0fiscper. Hope it helps.
regards,
kishore
