Hello
We have the following process:
- QNs are raised when inbound stock does not meet quality
- Then decision is made if this can be scrapped / destroyed
-If yes, this is done via a task in the QN, that needs to go through an approval process.
Question: How can we find out with who the approval sits with at a point in time? Any SAP Tcode or where to look...? (to know who is slacking in doing their approvals)
Usually the approval is required from multiple higher level managers(up to 10), and my understanding is that when one approves it, this goes as a task in the next level's inbox.
Thank you
Daniel
Hi Daniel,
I would try looking at all the possible fields in a QN for which you know a person is assigned the task (or was). Essentially finding the field used for who the approval sits. Use QM03 and step thru the tabs & subtabs. It could be assigned as a different partner function as well, so if may not be the persons "Name" but department or position rather.
Let me know if this gets you where you need.

Thank you both for the answers, but still doesn't work.
Dave - When I run QM13 for a specific material QN the fields Changed by and Changed on and Resposible are all blank and in the Completed by field is the user who started the destruction approval process, not where the approval process is or who is the last person that approved it. Those 2 fields are empty even when I look at the QN in QM03 on the Tasks tab
Arijit - When the task "Destroy material" is raised, this is moved to TSCO status after the first person completes it, even though still waits approval from few other people.
Thanks
Daniel

Hi,
May be also you can think like block Task Processing user's access till system status TSRL, through user status and approver can change the TSRL task to TSCO, by changing the user status. You can explore the below thread to try achieving it, based on
mahes.waran2's feedback

Thanks,

If I'm understanding correctly, you are looking for a list of "Approval" Tasks for the Quality Notifications?
You could use QM12 & QM13 (Change/Display Quality Notification Tasks) and the applicable selection criterion, such as the Task code groups and codes, to get the desired list. To "find out with who the approval sits with at a point in time" look at the Created on and Completion Date columns along with the Responsible and Completed By columns. You should be able to use a pivot table to quickly query your report.
Let me know if this helps or not.
