SXMSALERT_SEND_VIA_MAIL behavior

Dear,

When I execute program SXMSALERT_SEND_VIA_MAIL manually with consumer =

ALERT-TO-MAIL, max chunk = 5.000, max detailed = 20 and my distribution list, I see mails passing in SCOT.

When I schedule a background job with that program and variant, I get an error in my spool list: E-mail sending failed for "MESSAGE ....

What do I miss?

Hi Andrzej,

In SU01, I saw a parameter SOST with value XXXX XXX1XXX XX X

No idea what it means, but I took it over in the new system. Scheduled the job again with the correct user, but unfortunately no luck.

Hi Dimitri,

Have you scheduled this report to be run by your user or an another one? If an another one then maybe that user is not authorized to perform an operation like that.
