How to import and export HR-XML to SAP E-Recruiting?

We have another system that contains candidate data which can be converted to HR-XML format. We want to import those data into SAP E-Recruiting. So I have following questions.

1. Does XI support a HR-XML interface? Means, can we call XI and pass in HR-XML, then XI can import those data into SAP E-Recruiting. And can XI return HR-XML when querying it.

2. If XI does support it, is there another interface or service I can use to import and export HR-XML?
