hi gurus,
my question is how to analyse a workflow scenario.
for example if the fuctional consultant comes with a transaction VA01 and asks to develop a workflow when a sales order is created.
1)the email should be sent to the client(scenario)
2)where i can see list of workflows for a particular transaction.
3)how to debugg a workflow
4)how to transport a workflow from development to production.
thanks n regards,
vinay

Hi,
you can debug your workflow by keeping breakpoints in the Business Object(BOR) which the workflow is using.
Thank you,

HI,
You`ll not be able to see a list of workflow based on a transaction. Rather you can view list of workflows based on the BUSINESS OBJECT. Tx. SWO1, In your case BUS2032. You can use this Obj. and the event created to trigger a workflow.
In your workflow template, maintain above the abovesaid triggering event and then include a step type mail with a task and assign the user name in the recepient.
A Workflow has two parts, one the definition and its header, hence the transport has to be in sequence. First the tasks and the workflow template.
Hope this info. is useful, reward points.

Hi Alson ,
The Business object for sales order is BUS2032 . See the event in it . The workflow will be triggered whenever these events are triggered .
Simulate these events and u'll get the list of workflows
The workflows are transported through Tr. request only .
See transaction SWUS for executing the workflow .
