Hi All,
We are encountering a strange problem.. The SAP Exit variable Current
Calendar Day (SAP Exit) for 0CALDAY is suddenly started populated in
each and every report which is built on infocubes containing 0CALDAY..
Most strangest part is even if we don't select 0CALDAY in query the
variable appears in report..
In certain queries we are having a couple of variables based on 0CALDAY
and 0CALMONTH. The new variable is appearing along with these
variables..
Note : These reports are based on SAP BW 7.0 version.. We have already unchecked Force variable Screen Display property in our templates..

Ajay
Thanx guyz for providing various options in order to tackle the situation..
We have resolved the problem by making certain twist in object(0DAT) ie SAP Exit variable for 0CALDAY..
By default the variable is mandatory and the option READY FOR INPUT is checked..
We made changes in both cases.. We unchecked the READY FOR INPUT option and made the variable as OPTIONAL..
This trick worked out for us..

Ajay

Hi,Ajay:
Maybe you havn't solve the problem completely, you just hide the popup window for 0calday variant 0DAT.
Here is the solution, goto variant 0DAT and choose where-used-list in the context menu. Then you goto the report and delete the variant usage from this report. If the report is inactive, please goto BCT and firstly activate the report and then repeat the above operation.

Hi
You must be using SAP Exit variable Current
Calendar Day (SAP Exit) for 0CALDAY somewhere in your queries. Check all restricted key figures (at both-global & local level), structures etc and remove it. Then it will stop appearing for that query.

Maybe your are using that variable as part of selection or restricted KF.
In query properties, you can see variables used in your query. You can use the reference function (right button on varibles) to know where variable is used

Hi,
The problem is that 0CALDAY is SAP Exit variable, so even if any where you have used it in any query on that data target.
Solution
There is a setting in the template which forces the variable screen to appear even though there are no mandatory variables, the property is VARIABLE_SCREEN. If you uncheck this property the selection screen will not appear.
check this out..

San!
