Load Balancing info in ITS Administrator

When I login into the ITS Admin Instance, when I choose to select "Load Balancing" on an instance other than ADM, I see the term "uncontacted" and no info.

But, on the ADM instance, there is information.

/scripts/wgate/wgate-status shows status unknown for all instances other than ADM. I have statusmonitor enabled and configmonitor enabled. When I go to enhanced view in /scripts/wgate/wgate-config and do mmanager and agate tests to the other instances (agates in a dual host config), I get back the results I would expect.

Is there some setting for activating load balancing on the Agates? Help is really appreciated (I've looked through OSS and help.sap.com on this one a lot).
