How to associate the field names in the cube with

corresponding field names in the base table.

check table RODCHABAS..

gives the field domain name to the characteristic in cube

goto SE11 and RODCHABAS... you will understand...you would see the field name in the table and the corresponding infoobject associated with it...

I'm not sure if i'm answering your question right..

yes u did see the fields, field type, check table. short text etc. what are these fields? do they correspond to

any to any infoobjects?

click

ctrl + shift + f10

or

on the top menu ...

click on contents..it will show you the infoobjects
