A basis person wants to be a certified XI consultant

Hi!

I am an SAP basis person with about 6 years working

experience.

I wish I could become a certified XI consultant.

Could you tell me

1) Do I need to learn mapping, ABAP, xml and java?

2) what will be the best path to the certificate for

a basis person?
