Hi,
EAI
Integrates applications within an enterprise to enable data access, transformation, integration, and delivery. Provides queuing, routing, and formatting.
EBI
Integration that connects internal apps with outside. EBI is just the B2C and B2B integration.
Both constitutes (B2B, A2A, B2C) a complete integration.

XI is an EAI toold In other worrds, an EAI tool is used to integrated application / business across different landscapes.
There are multiple EAI toold available in the market inclding XI , TIBCO, SeeBeyond, etc.
Just do a search on EAI in SDN and you will come up with tons of material on the saqme.
