Standard SAP method to send mail when saving Purchase order

Hi all,

I have a requirement to send the purchase order to a vendor as an e-mail while saving the order. Is there any standard way of doing it.

In the communication method of the messages, there is an option "Send with Note". Here there is an option of giving Recipient address. Can we configure the system to send mails here. Can some body throw some light on this.

u can configure this on transaction NACE..by configuring the Condition records ( a Functional consultant may be able to help u on this ), u can send a mail ( Medium 7 ->Simple Mail ) so that wen u press SAVE, this functionality automatically executes like it happens if u give Medium 1, the print gets generated wen u SAVE..
