Hi,

In the manage screen , you will have the option to select the request to rollup and then compress.

Check out that.

I mean you can use "calculate request ID" option.

Hope this helps you...

Hello,

it seems to be that this is the right way to solve my problem.

But, should I select "calculated request ID" or Aggregates.

I have the following problem:

Two requests with different Request ID, when I goto Rollup Screen, there is only request ID from the first request, what should I do in detail??

I do this for the first time

regards

Hi,

In such a case you can select individual request and do that. "Calculate request ID" will do periodic rollup of requests.

Hope this helps you.....

Hi,

For very less number of requests you can set up the individual id. For more number of requests, set it up using calcualted id. Here you can specify the number of days you want the request to be compressed. ex. You can set up requests that are older than 30 days for compression.

Suggest, you don't go in for compression if you have 2 requests. usually wait till about 6 months to see if the volume of data is steadily increasing or there are any space issues, etc. Compression also has its side effects. Ex in case if inventory for cumulative and non cumulative KFs you, need to careful if you compress the data. Also if you are using delta infospokes, then the moment you compress the data and if the delta has not run, the infospoke will fail.

Cheers,
