public holiday calendar

Hello,

we plan to develop a tool based on SAP NW J2EE Engine. Now we have some questions about some basics. We know the solutions in ABAP but not how to do this in JAVA?

For example the "public holiday calendar": Is there a solution on the JAVA Stack that we can use in webdynpro for java?
