Employee Self Service and Global Employee

Hi All,

We are implementing ESS and MSS on HR ERP2005.

In HR, International Assignees will generally have a home country record and work country record in SAP HR. The records will have different SAP personnel numbers.

We hope that activating the Concurrent Employment and Management of Global Employees functionality in SAP will enable the easy identification of the multiple personnel records for the one employee.

However, we don't know how Self Service will react to there being one Central Person with multiple employee records.

Has anyone tried this?

Hi Jimmy,

As (as far as IESS and MSS identify the user accessing the record using the userid of the employee, which is specifically linked to the employee (IT0105) and not the central person, I'd not expect much improvement in functionality. However, I'd very much like to be proved wrong. If anyone does have any additional details about how ESS and MSS react to concurrent employment, I'd be very much interested.
