BI accelerator properties

Hello,

I have a question about BIA properties.(2004s SP8)

On t-cd:trexadmin, go to TREX customizing tab, some properties can be seen, like

Basis Client: Trace into application log

Basis Client: Trace request and response into application log

Basis Client: Allow TREX Commit Work for application log

Basis Client: Use data compression

Please let me know how to and in what situation, i should check this flag?
