Catering deficit outside Frozen Horizon

Hi Experts,

I want to create a scenario as follows:

My frozen horizon is 2 Weeks. My demand is say 1000 units across the Periods. Adjusted Production is 500 within Frozen Horizon. In this situation, Deficit is generated as 500 units for first 2 periods which is correct. Our requirement is, this deficit of Week 1 and Week 2 should get added to demand in Week 3 and make a production of 1500 units. Is this possible using standard methods? Or is it that we have to configure the system?

Hi Sourojit,

Your scenario is not possible in IBP, because deficit of week 1 and week 2 demand will not add to week 3.
