Hi,

We have license of "Crystal Report 2008”

So far, we have used it with web applications developed using ASP.Net without any issue

Now, we are converting our existing ASP.NET application using ASP.Net Web API (dotnet framework 4.5) and AngularJs2.0.

We are facing difficulties in converting reporting module.

We are struggling to find the alternative for CrystalReportViewer control in AngularJs/html

Our requirement is as below,

1.In our existing reporting module,

a.We have designed the required text, graphical and drilldown reports

b.We are binding ADO.Net DataSet to CrystalReportViewer as a report data source

c.We have various graphical reports

d.We have various summary reports and we allow users to drilldown the selected summary item to see the details by selected detail item

e.We allow users to print the report to printer

f.We allow users to export the report to PDF/MS Excel

2.In our new application,

a.We want to re-use all the RPT files from existing application in our new application

b.We want to develop all the above mentioned features of existing reporting system in our new application

We are stuck with the development of reporting system in our new application and would like to know the best way to develop all these features using ASP.NET Web API and AngularJs.

We will really appreciate if you can provide us with sample code for the same

Kindly advice ASAP.

Thanks,

Jitendra B

Hi Jitendra,

I doubt this will work. We have no plans at this time to support Angular js.

How about starting off with CR Java app?
