Difficulties with PM-exit ITOB0001

Hi!

I’m expeiencing with some difficulties using the exit ITOB0001. This exit is the enchancement of the transaction IE01 (and IE02, IE03) – maintenance of equipments.

I would like to add a new user defined subscreen to this transaction.

I’ve made with CMOD transaction a new projekt (ZPM) and added this add-in (ITOB0001) to it.

In the components I modified the following section to add a new subscreen

Screen-exit SAPLITO0 1080 XUSR1080 SAPLXTOB 1000

I defined the subscreen and activated it.

I made a few customizing settings also, but don’t know exactly was that the correct settings?

Can anyone please tell me the exact step-by-step settings both in customizing and in the add-in also?

The enhancement ITOB0001 is well documented. You can read the documentation in SMOD transaction (Choose Documentation Radio button).

Hi,

The customizing settings you need to do (for equipments, for other technical objets like functional locations it will be something similar)are:

1.- Assign a view profile to the equipment for which you want the fields in your subscreen to be used (this is done in "Maintain equipment category" in field profile). You can insert there "STANDARD".

2.- Assign subscreen SAPLITO0/1080 to equipment data screen group for view profile "STANDARD". This is done in "Set View Profiles for technical objects". There you have to add seq. no. 150 to the general tab (after the default ones 005, 010, 015).
