Party Determination Error

Hi All,

While creating opportunities, users are constantly getting errors such as:

1) Please enter a party with role sales unit.

I have already checked the employee's profile and latter is correctly assigned to a Sales org. Everything correctly updated under organizational management workcenter as well and the employee is also well updated/listed in their respective territories.

Will it be solved by deactivating Party Determination? How to do that? Any implications?

2) Please enter a sales unit. XXXX is not a valid sales unit for XXX (presume this one is much more related to the org structure? Any documents to help grasping this section?)

When an employee is assigned as the owner of the Opportunity, the Sales area is auto determined, however, with SAles Organization, there is a Sales Unit too which needs to be populated - This field must not e getting correct corresponding value to Sales Organization.

Try filling the correct Sales Unit and the error should go.
