How to map organisation hierarchy and grid network in sap isu?

We need to map organisation hierarchy and grid network hierarchy with SAP ISU and all are inter connected (Ex: Division to Sub-station) and also require to switch for network reconfiguration and its flow of energy data (Ex: before sub-station-1 to feeder-1 and after sub-station-2 to feeder-1). But currently SAP ISU does not have any standard functionality to do so hence, we planned to map organisation hierarchy with connection object and grid network hierarchy with device location by enhancing superior functional location. Can anyone suggest how can we build this dynamic model in system/improvements to my design?

Hi

You can maintain GRID levels and Hierarchy in SAP. It comes as standard.

Your proposed solution can be used if we use deregulated market data model but we are not using that extended model since there is no EDM module here.

Can you please suggest solution when there is no PoD is exist in data model?

Hi Harish,

You dont need to be in deregulated scenario to create grid hierarchy. You can still do it in regulated scenario. In Grid you can have multiple levels (may be based on voltage level, for example) and assign this grid to Installation. 🙂
