Integration Repository - Authorization error , unknown username or incorrec

Hi

I am trying to connect to Integration Repository from t-code "SXMB_IFR" , Its asking for User Name and Password , when i fill in and hit enter i am getting the following message "<u><i><b>Authorization error , unknown username or incorrect password</b></i></u>".

I tried all these options:

1) I am using all roles of user XISUPER

2) Enter Host Name at , C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

3) Refresh the Cache from "Administration Tab"

Any other ideas....

No Luck , I tried all the steps mentioned in these blogs after connecting to VPN where XI is installed.

What else we can think of?????

I am able connect to ports 8000,50000 but not 50014,50018.

Do you think this is a problem?

Why dont u try doing a full cache refresh?? Just might work..

Now my problem is resolved , I was using wrong IP address , I thought Application server address and host IP address are same but they are different.

The Blog's you sent are very helpful , thank you and i allotted total 8 point to you.

Abhy has also got a valid point there.. Could definitely be a firewall issue too..

Hi Srinivas,

We faced a similar problem. The issue is that the port to which you are trying to access have not been opened for you (firewall issue). So ask ur networking folks to open the ports to allow you access the server.

Preferably ask the to open all the ports between 50000 to 59999.

Ports 8000 and 50000 are open , I tested it using Telnet.

Is it required to open all the ports from 50000-59999.

It seems connection is taking place using port 50000.
