Current Default workbook "2004s"

Hello,

I created a Workbook with few design items and saved it to the server. Then assigned that workbook as the current default.

The opened a query using that current default. I am not able to see any results.

Can anyone please help me. I am not sure whether I am doing anything wrong.

I also have another question. Whether it would be possible to have multiple workbook template and select differently for different reports, like what I use to have withint RRMX.

Hi ,

Are you able to resolve this problem.

After setting particular workbook as default ( using Global setting-->Use Current option) in NW2004s, if I open any other query it always opens default template .

You can create multiple templates of workbook and save it.

To use the Templates there is an option in the Bex Tool Bar, Select Settings-New Workbook on Embed- is selected from list.By this way the user can select the WorkBook Templates saved and see the queries in that template.

Thanks for the reply. I am working with 2004s and the BEx Analyzer is new and do not have the same menus like what you have with the 3.5.

I posted this question since I do not know where that sort of an option is available where I can go and select the required workbook as template.

Further I am unable to use the Current workbook config available in the system.

you have to add an analysis grid to your design and assign a data provider to it
