Hi Friends,

Can Any Body Send JCo Configuration Steps such how to configure ?

<b>For WD_MODELDATA_DEST</b>

<i>Step1(General Data):</i>

give the entry for client:400 //SAP Client number

Maximal Pool Size 100//Maximum

Maximum Connections 200//Maximum

Connection Timout (msec.) 10,000

Maximum Waiting 30,000

<i>step2(J2EE Cluster):</i>

Default next>

<i>Step3(Connection Type):</i>

select Application Data radio button and Single Server Connection radiobutton

<i>step3.1(Appl. Server Connection):</i>

Application Server select your corressponding server in SLD

System Id 00

Use SAP Router un checked next>

Used Method User/Password

Name <SAPUSERNAME>

Password <SAPPASSWORD>

Hi Mukesh,

U have explained clearly how to connect to JCo, Its very helpful. thanks.

Im my application im also tryin to connect to JCo, as u said in the step 3

we have to select the server in SLD.

my problem is server name is not displayed in the dropdown list.

should i configure something in SLD so that server name wil b displayed in the dropdown list so that i can select the server and continue furthere.

plz help me in solving this problem.

Hi,

Step 1: Open http://server:port/index.html

Step 2: Go To Web Dynpro

Step 3: Content Administrator

Step 4: Create New JCo.

Step 5: Create JCos for 1 Model Node and Anoter For MetaNode

Ex: WD_MODELDATA_XXX, WD_METADATA_XXX (Leave it min and max pools)

Step6: Give ur Backend Database userid and password.

Step7: finish it

Step8: these will appear on Screer, Choose Test option to Test wether are ok or not!

Step9: If you have any Quations please get back to me!
