U have explained clearly how to connect to JCo, Its very helpful. thanks.
Im my application im also tryin to connect to JCo, as u said in the step 3
we have to select the server in SLD.
my problem is server name is not displayed in the dropdown list.
should i configure something in SLD so that server name wil b displayed in the dropdown list so that i can select the server and continue furthere.
plz help me in solving this problem.

Hi,
Step 1: Open http://server:port/index.html
Step 2: Go To Web Dynpro
Step 3: Content Administrator
Step 4: Create New JCo.
Step 5: Create JCos for 1 Model Node and Anoter For MetaNode
Ex: WD_MODELDATA_XXX, WD_METADATA_XXX (Leave it min and max pools)
Step6: Give ur Backend Database userid and password.
Step7: finish it
Step8: these will appear on Screer, Choose Test option to Test wether are ok or not!
Step9: If you have any Quations please get back to me!
