Report for material transfer from plant to plant

Former Member

Hi,

We have a scenario in which we have multiple plants & materials are being transferred from one plant to other in almost all combinations. Is there any standard report which gives data about material transferred between two specific plants i.e from plant & destination plant?

Hi Mohit,

In the purchase order header (EKKO), you will find document type (bstyp) - some of them are defined only for stock transfers.

- create a view based tables EKKO and EKPO

- create generic DS

- in the report, you can make the filters for the document type specified for stock transfers.

Hope it helps.

Hi Sameer,

Thanks for the reply.

ME2W is only showing report for purchasing documents whearas i require material document generated while transfering material between two specific plants.

I i am missing something in ME2W then do suggest.

Hi Mohit,

You can use MB51 for the materials despatched against STO (Provided you are using different no. range for STO). Any way, which mvt types you are using for stock transfer - 351/101, 301, 303/305? So that accordingly, yu can generate report by entering supplying plant in initial screen of MB51.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

This report does not suits for the issue as MB5T shows the stock in transit whearas we require report which shows material transfer between two specific plants i.e the report should contain both sender & receiving plant.

Try using ME2W. You will have to change the layout and define varient in selection screen. Hope this will solve your problem.

Hi,

If you are using the Stock transport Orders in SAP for transfer of stock between plants (inter and intra company codes), try using the report MB5T.
