Hello Yanjun,

Please let me know password of which user in MAXDB you are looking for?

SAP Standard Users for MAXDB Database::

dbm ( Database Manager operator ) user - CONTROL( default password - control );

SYSDBA (UserDatabase System Administrator) User - SUPERDBA ( default password - admin);

Database administrator for the SAP system with the ID <SAPSID>

(database user of the type DBA) - SAP<SAPSID> ( default password - sap);

< In J2EE systems: DBA user - SAP<SAPSID>DB ( default password - sap);

If I ame new to the site and (DB Admin) and they have a maxdb (can't remember password) but I have root access to the windows 2003 server (as administrator) , is there a way to reset the master password? (Like the config tool can enable sapstar)
