Variant Management issue in UI screen

Hi Team,

Have created UI screen using smart table controls, there is a need to add the variants in smart table and in smart filterbar .

I had tried to implement the variant management by adding the properties:

useVariantManagement="true".

persistencyKey="SmartTablePKey" .

But the variant option is still disabled and iam getting an error as shown below

Kindly let me know how to resolve this issue or how to add the variants to smart filterbar and smart table.

If you are using WebIDE run it as a part of fiori launchpad sadbox in run configurations as the variant management needs the fiori launchpad as a prerequisite as far as i know or you could simply push it to sap and run it in fiori launchpad, it should work.
