How to sync data source from hana to hybris marketing

Dear experts,

I have two segmentation attributes from hana calculation view who's description is not synchronizing with a hybris marketing. Sync button does not change anything.

In the attribute view in SPRO I am missing a description from HANA. It was there, but disappeared after one of SAP notes was applied. Not possible to get it back now.

Is there a forced way to do a full sync to get a description correct in the hybris marketing?

You use the marketing permissions as filter in the segmentation. In the preview you see technical field names as column labels.

Strange behavior... I'd think the sync button in SPRO would work :s

Anyway in your SPRO activity I see in the data source location that you're working on the sap standard HANA view. I think that in any case if you do a system upgrade that you risk to have any changed descriptions overwritten anyway. I always use a copy of the standard in my own package on HANA.

I'm don't know all the HANA stuff, but I also notice that this MKT_PERM_OUTBOUND_COMM_MEDIUM is in the "shared" section of view's semantics... maybe that affects the sync? In the last column is the "source" HANA view: sap.hana-app.cuan.contact::CA_D_IC_MARKETING_PERMISSION, maybe the description should be changed there? (just guessing here...)

No, didn't help. What helped was changing an attribute label in the corresponding source view on HANA and activating it. Then changing it back and activating again. Some sort of a bug, perhaps.

I will log an SAP incident for that. As soon as I released my transports to the test system, same happened there, descriptions were fine there before that though.

I didn't change the description of it and it is a pure standard. It was alright immediately after the upgrade, but disappeared after one of post-upgrade fix SAP notes was applied.
