Hello ,

User has a requirement of updating the planning plants reflecting against each operation of an order with particular order type with the maintenance plant.

for. e.g. We do have a centralized planning , with the only planning type 1002 . So in case of the auto generation of the orders in preventative maintenance, against operation only plant 1002 is reflecting for all the orders. so its getting very tedious job for the users to have the proper plant wise analysis of the Operations or tasks done. So we need to update all the planning plants with respective maintenance plant. through batch job . Is there any FM or BAPI for this to change or update.?

Why not change this data in the task lists, then when the orders are created from the maintenance plan they will have the correct data

Hi All,

We had to follow the below steps to carry out the changes in planning plant assigned to operations and replace the same with maintenance plant:

  • A batch job will run post the deadline monitoring batch job, which will fetch all the orders with order type PM02 for the current date and replace the planning plant against operation with main work center plant.
  • The batch job will fetch all the order details through the function module: BAPI_ALM_ORDER_GET_DETAIL. Input data will be the order no. and the output details will be the main work center plant.

Then the batch job will update the planning plant of operations using the function module BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN with the main plant
