DataServices repository configuration issue

Dear all

Currently i am facing issue on BODS 4.2 SP2 installation on Step DataServices repository configuration, The select installation type is " install with default configuration " and show me to step "DataServices repository configuration". Listener and CMC are running fine, but the message error is " the database connection failed" Fyi, im using SAP IPS 4.2 SP3 and DB oracle.Could you please advise how to resolve this issue. thanks

Do you have your TNSnames setup correctly?

Can you post the exact error message here?. Screen shot of the error will be great.
