Switch framework and composite enhancements

We have developed a fairly complicated enhancement in SAP ECC 6.0 which uses an existing BADI as well as several implicit enhancement points. All components are grouped together into a composite enhancement.

My question is as follows: Is it possible to deactivate all components at once by de-activating the the composite enhancement? Or are you stuck going back and commenting out all of the code in the implicit enhancement points? What about if we assigned the package to a switch in the switch framework? SAP Help says that a switch that is switched ON can't be switched back OFF (is that really a switch then?)

Is it in SAP's future plans to allow you to switch back off that which you switched on?

Thanks for any information on this topic!

the only way to deactivate any enahcement is the switch framework.

Up to now the switch framework is released for SAP industrie solutions only.

In the next NetWeaver Release we will allow the usage of the Switch Framework.

    Best Regards
