Hi all,
Is there a place where we can see the current recipients for an Alert category?
I had some fixed recipients and the roles added in the recipients through roles section.
The configuration I set was 'Internal processing'. Some how my alerts are stopped popping up after I added one role in the roles section. I deleted the role from there even then it is not working.
Please through some light into this problem and let me know your opinions.
Thanks
Kalyan
Hi Kalyana,
I dont understand.. You said U have already added fixed recipients for the alert category. Then, the alerts go to them right? They are supposed to.
What exactly is the error?

Hi Vijaya,
You are right. I will explain what happened in my case.
1) I have my e-mail in SMTP Using XML option - the alerts worked fine. I was able to get alerts.
2) I added another e-mail id in the same place like this. <email1>;<email2>. It stopped working at this point.
3) I changed it to internal processing. I already have 2 fixed recipients. We were able to get the alerts.
4) I added 'SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR> in the 'Recipients by Roles' and later removed it from that table. I am not getting any alerts since then.
My question is that when I have entered the SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR, some setting is changed to look into this option and the other configurations are not wotking.
I changed it back to my user id in the 'SMTP using XML' box. Nothing is working since then.
I created new alert category, which is also not getting alerts.
I restarted XI, which did not fix the problem.
Please let me know if you have any ideas around this problem.
Thanks
Kalyan

Prashant,
Thanks for the link. But it didn't answer my question. I have already added the recipients to fixed recipients and added a role to roles. I don't know to whom the alerts will go. After I made this change the alert config is not working. Let me know if you know the solution specifically for this problem.
Thanks
Kalyan
