Securing Netweaver 2004s Portal

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to realize secure access to a NetWeaver 2004s Enterprise Portal. Does anyone know an easy way to achieve this? I can just disable the http port in the visual administrator, unfortunately the message server does recognize this but does not forward requests to the SSL port. Second issue is trex: configuring trex for ssl is a rather huge task, but once the http port is disabled there seems to be no choice but configuring trex for ssl also. Third question regards the webdispatcher: how am I able to configure it to connect to the message server (which uses ssl then) properly?

Hope someone can help, it should not be THAT hard to get a system secure should it?

Kind regards,

Hendrik
