Why dialog box when attempting logon

Hi all!

I have a question.

Is there a way to logon via the logon pad directly instead of doing it via the logon popup.

I am not using https, is this the reason, do I have to activate https to logon directly on the logon pad.

Otherwise the function "Request user ID" is worthless since you in this case has to have a WAS user ID and password to make a reguest of user ID.

Following text is displayed in the logon pad:

SSO is not active in system To continue, choose "Logon". A dialog box appears, where you can enter your user and password. This server does not support HTTPS! It is therefore potentially unsafe to send your password

    Hi,

I had the same problem. The customer had no SSO and HTTPS activated, but a basis colleague told me to set the following parameters to '1':

    login/accept_ss02_ticket

    login/create_sso2_ticket

    Then it worked.
