Storage location of material is not copied in IW42 for unplanned materials

Hi,

I have a doubt on copying material storage location in Order confirmation screen (IW42).

For planned materials in an order the storage location is copied automatically from material master MRP2 (Prod. Stor. Loc- Field) in to order confirmation screen (IW42).

But if I add same material as uplanned material in IW42 confirmation screen for an order, the storage location from the material is not copied and we have to enter storage location manually. Is it a standard behaviour?

Its the same in my HANA system. I also tried the supply area in the material and work centre, but that didn't work either.

Open an OSS meassage to SAP to see what they recommend.

Hi Pete ! I still face the mentioned problem (S/4 2021 FPS 01). Do you have any update on this or shall I open an OSS message ?!

I already checked the knowledge base for news with no result.

Hi Michael,

It wont hurt opening an OSS Message to SAP to see what they recommend..

If you do create a message, then keep us updated please.
