How to create user ID in SAP Using SAP IDM 8.0

Hi Team,

I have done a new installation of SAP IDM 8.0 SP3 and created a ABAP specific sever connection to one of our SAP system. loaded the initial roles.

but after that when i try to create a user and assign this role via IDM manage tab i am getting below error when it calls createuser process.

"Unable to intialize the ASHOST"

Hello Saurabh,

It seems your SAP IdM is unable to communicate with SAP system.

As you said you have already loaded the Initial roles, I believe you have successfully completed the Initial load job without any error. This is possible with proper Repository constant only however Could you please check your repository constant again and ensure that your all repository constants have the correct value.

If all the repository constants are correct then the another check point is

• Try to ping your SAP server and ensure that SAP IdM is still able to connect to your SAP system.
• The Authentication user should not be locked in SAP system and it has proper authorization to create user in SAP system.
