Easy DMS:PARAMETER CONVERSION ERROR

We are using Easy Document Management System version 6. The problem is found in below situation:

A new document is created either in Private or Public folder in Easy DMS. A file is attached (ex-text) and when proceed further to save the document the message "RFC system exception:Incorrect parameter type used in an RFC" is poped up. It ends up with short dump. This is happening in case a file is attached.

The error shows in dump:

"Error PARAMETER CONVERSION ERROR occurred. |

| P1=CALL_FUNCTION_ILLEGAL_P_TYPE"

I want to know is there any specific setting to be done for Easy DMS. Could anyone help on this.
