I have a local install of WAS on my laptop. I completed the SLD post-intallation but I am unsure of settings for "Data Supplier" settings.
Goal: Communicate with a BW7 system
Steps:
1. in URL .../sld I put as Gateway Host & Gateway Service the settings of BW7 system taken from transaction RZ70.
2. in Visual Administrator ..-> SLD Data Supplier settings
are as follows:
HTTP Settings:
-
- Host: Localhost
- Port: 53000
- User: Administrator
- Password: <...>
CIM client configuration settings
-
- same as above
Outcome
-
- SLD data transfer is successful
- Back in URL .../SLD, under "Technical system", I see see 2 WAS ABAP system, I see my local install under WAS JAVA, but I don't see my BW7 system under "Business System" as I expected. (What am I missing?)
- When I logon to BW7 system and go to SM59 and try to connect to local J2ee I get program <...> not registered.
Raynald,
In the visual administrator you have to create the JCO RFC Provider corresponding to the destination you are trying to create in SM59. You can find the details in teh post installation guide of Netweaver 2004s.
Make sure this JCO RFC Destination does not have an error.
Hope this helps.
Sumit.
