Hi All,

We are using SAP Portal v7.4 and we are getting the below error message whenever i try to login to the Portal.

ume-config-error.png

In our project, the roles are assigned according to the designation of the user. And all the users irrespective of their roles face the same issue as shown in screenshot.

I found out a solution by checking the Visual Admin, using the j2ee_admin id to login and check if the applications are running properly. But could not utilize it since 7.4 does not have a scope of Visual Admin.

Please help me in solving the issue as its very urgent for us.

Thanks,

Harshada

Hi Harshada,

Does the error occur if you give user both Portal Super User role and NWA Super Admin role?

Best regards,

Nick

Hello Harshada,

Can you reproduce the issue and attach latest two default traces from the server. The path is /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/serverX/log.

You can use NWA to start and stop applications in 7.4 systems.
