Need inforamation on CTI with third party call center for inbound and outbound calls


Since, We are integrtaing CTI with Knowlarity call center.

AS per Admin Guide, Document Version: 1608 – 2016-11-16 page_number:632 (Computer telephony Integration)

In prerequisites- Mentioned that Microsoft Visual Studio required to build DLL.

So my concern is

1. To Modify DLL,as per business requirement whether we required licenced version of visual studio or can we do it with the trail version of visual studio and copy file in each of the clients system's CTI Client Adapter file structure.(To deploy the DLL, copy the DLL to C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP\SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer CTI Client.) .

2. Do we need to deploy/Insatall Microsoft Visual Studio in each of client system or on any one server to run DLL File?

3. Can we develop DLL logic in java instead in visual studio?

Could you please share if you have any document avaliable on the CTI(Computer Telephony Integration) with Knowlarity call center and sample dail out logic for enabling inbound calling and out bound calling

    Dear Mounika,

    You would need the visual studio for modifying the file as far as I understand and this file is the trigger for the outbound call so even if your logic lies elsewhere(not sure if having that in Java works) but the logic needs to be called from this file.
