Information on Excel Add-In for C4C?

Hi All,

Does anyone have any formal documentation on the capabilities and limitations of the Excel add-in for C4C? I have been trying it but seems weird..i can only download data in the form of reports? Can i update data and send it back to C4C? Can i add NEW data and send it back to C4C (i.e. can i load contacts this way)? etc...

Hello Sandico,

We presently have the same situation of trying the possibilities of modifying the C4C excel reports with the formulas. When I include a formula and save the workbook. The functionality is not working. Could you please any information how we should modify and update excel reports using any user specific formula.

Thanks i also found those articls yesterday but the first one is about troubleshooting, and the second one almost had enough but i was wanting to read more about this piece (#2).

I have two use-cases for the Excel plug-in and I will show an example of the first one;
1.Extending existing reports with Excel formulas
2.Mass update customer data with (acquired) information

Does SAP themselves not have any documentation about the use of the Excel add-in?
