Convert report trees into area menu's

Hello all,

Upgrading from 40 to 47 and having issues with the conversion of a report tree into an area menu. In 40 we have a report tree that sits behind transaction F.97. We now wish to add this to the front screen SAP menu in a bespoke area menu.

I have scoured OSS and found note 295771, "Migration of report trees in area menus" which seemed perfect. I followed this and the new area menu was created. However, the new area menu does not have any of the transaction codes behind the original report tree.

Am I missing something here? Any comments or suggestions would be very welcome.
